So tonight I happened upon a DVD “Haywire” starring no name
kickboxer turned actress Gina Carono as the assassin for hire goes on the run
to clear her name. Originally released
in January 2012 Steven Soderbergh (Traffic, Ocean’s 11) directed this film.
It contained a pretty stellar cast including: Michael
Douglas, Antonio Bandaras, Michael Fassbender, Channing Tatum & Ewan McGregor. After seeing the preview I decided to give it
a shot.
This girl has tolerable acting skills and model looks, but
her ability to portray a kick ass assassin was impressive. I’d even read on-line she might be considered
for a role as Wonder Woman, which I could definitely see.
Anyhew for a more than decent action flick, it’s a DVD not
to be overlooked.
