And so I went to see Promethus this weekend. This is a Ridley Scot film about a crew,
funded by the Weyland Corporation, sent to a planet in search of an alien
species.
Charlize Theron as head bitch in charge, and Naoomi Rapace
(Girl With the Dragon tattoo) steal the spotlight in this film. Although Michael Fassbender as the "synthetic" was pretty
outstanding and borderline creepy. (See clip)

I had read online that this was a “Alien” prequel, and yes
it was. I had high expectations for this
movie as I am a fan of that franchise, having seen all of its films.
It was good but not great.
How could they have improved this film?
For starters how about the simple use of a voiceover at the
beginning. The first scene in this film
left me with too many question marks throughout the film.
Also they could have made things abit more suspenseful. Am I sorry I went to see it? Nope I definitely enjoyed it, I guess my
expectations were too great. P.S.
Prometheus is the name of the damn ship.
